Loss weight and gained it back.

Have you loss weight in the past only to pack it back on? Unfortunately if you answered yes you are one of the millions of people who have problems with keeping off the weight. Lets face it eating healthy 24/7 is not the easiest thing to do. Truthfully nor is it the wisest thing to do. You see we all need balance in everything we do. We have all heard the saying too much of anything is not good for you. There hasn't been a saying more correct than that one. Living a healthier lifestyle has to be just that, a lifestyle. The old school way of dieting cold turkey doesn't work. You can only eat so many salads and skinless chicken breast before you get bored with it. Here is a suggestion to help you keep off the weight. If you take this suggestion lightly it will have no impact at all. However if you take it serious and apply it today, your weight loss success will be longer lasting. No more struggling with the weight flucuation. The root of  poor eating habits and weight gain is from not knowing how to satisfy your taste buds. The reason why the Big Mac is the best selling hamburger in the world is because it satisfies our taste buds. Sweet,sour,bitter, and pungent is what we taste when we bite into that burger and the secret sauce. Being that all of our taste buds are satisfied we continue to buy the Big Mac over and over again. Ok here is how we overcome our issue with eating fattening food. Are you ready? I hope you are sitting down because this is huge. When ever you have a taste for something that may not be the healthiest thing in the world,remember this "satisfy the taste not the stomach". There is always a alternative not as calorie loaded with the same exact taste. You just have to learn about the alternatives. I'll give a example from my personal experience. I recall one day I had a taste for a snickers bar. I'm not a candy eater however for some reason I wanted a snickers bar. Now no way in the world did I want that sitting on my stomach. So what I did was found a healthier alternative. What I really wanted was the taste of chocolate. So rather than eating the snickers bar a drank a cup of hot chocolate. After a few sips of that hot chocolate I could care less about a snickers bar. Do the comparison in calories and fat content. Which one has more? We all know the answer. So the next time you have a taste for something that may not be the healthiest "satisfy the taste not the stomach".    ...read more
