Woodlawn Memorial Park

I have lived in Durham for all my life and knew Woodlawn when it was practically the only cemetery. My grandparents are there, my wife's grandparents are there, my wife's father is there. I have seen good times and bad times there, but the current owners seem to really be doing a tremendous, respectful job of maintenance. I go at least 5 times a year to the sites I mentioned earlier as well as my step father's original wife. I have NEVER seen such good care taken; Thank you so much for the respectful trimming around the headstones. I know the owner of this crematory personally and use to work with him years ago and when my ex-husband died i used his company to have my ex- husband cremated and i was very satisfied with the price and the way that i was talked to. Im sure that the owner talks to everyone in a very professional manner because he has always been a very professional person and he cares about people. I would recommend Quality Mortuary and Cremation to anyone who wants to be cremated and i plan on using them myself for me and my present husband. My family has used Skippy for over 20+ years. The staff is always very helpful and at all times thoughtful. My Grandfather passed in New Jersey, we called Skippy and he gave us all of the necessary information to have him shipped to Durham and even kept us informed about the flight. We were called when the plane landed. Losing a family member is always stressful but Skippy and his staff remained in contact and made calls to New Jersey to expediate the process of bringing my Grandfather home.
