3 tools to Finding a job
In today's world so many people are out looking for jobs. The companies are bogged down with resumes and applications. If you want to stand out you have to be the exception to the rest of the applicants. The first tool that will help you stand out is to follow directions. If the company requires that you fill out the online application and then call to check on the status then do this. Applicants that call first are not following directions and this is the first thing that will stick out in an employers mind. The second tool is to register with all temporary staffing services in the areas in which you are interested in working. In addition to you looking for work you have the staffing services looking for work as well. Many companies will go through a staffing service before listing a job on a job board or newspaper because it is less expensive and it helps weed out those that are not qualified for the job. The third tool is to be professional. When you submit an email address or give a cell phone number stay professional. An email address that is listed as bigbooty1@blahblah.com is not going to be considered as professional. On the same side a cell phone number with a voice mail that your friends enjoy is not going to be professional or looked at favorably by a recruiter or company calling you in for an interview. Following Directions, registering with all staffing services and staying professional will help you land that job you have been after. ...read more
