Save your time and money. Multiple family members went to Queen City Eye because they were the only nearby eye examination office in my insurance plans network, and we will not be returning. From Dr. Dudley to the front office administration, the business is poorly managed and unprofessional. The office staff was pleasant, but they screwed up every order from my contacts to frames for my kids – I guess I can at least say they were consistent. Multiple calls to the office following up on the order status were received with a "the order was never placed” or “I don't know what happened". As for Dr. Dudley, he needs to improve his patient communication skills. He spoke very condescending and patronizing when I declined the additional examination options. I never write reviews, but the service was so bad it is warranted. I completely expect more coming from a professional service. As a result, I am gladly paying out of pocket to go back to my original eye practitioner. ...read more

It wasn't really the ""vision center"" in particular that I hated...it was the doctor and his rudeness towards his customers. I made an appointment and had to cancel due to something unexpected. I called an hour before my appointment and apologized for the cancellation and tried to reschedule. I talked to the doctor himself and was lectured like a 5 year old on how it is disrespectful and unfair to other customers for me to cancel an appointment because he only has an hour to fill the gap...I couldn't believe my ears. He belittled me the entire conversation. I told him that it was something unexpected and I'd like to reschedule for the following week...he said that I could and the convo ended. An hour later he calls my cell phone back and leaves a voicemail saying that I was not ""allowed"" to reschedule because I had cancelled on such short notice and that I needed to quote ""take my business elsewhere""...needless to say, I will not be returning to that Walmart anytime soon.
