It depends on the photographer you choose. When money is leaving your hands, it can feel like an expense and our nature is to try to minimize our expenses. If all photographers were the same it would make perfect sense to choose the cheapest one. So many realtors I've met and worked with have come to realize a key concept of real estate photography: Choosing a cheap real estate photographer can be very expensive!
