I recently called Family Reproductive Health to schedule an appointment for a medical (pill) abortion. After seeing the inner workings of this filthy facility all I can say is: BEWARE. You are just a paycheck to these ghetto ignorant scumbags. I made an appointment for 9:15a and arrived at 9am filled out the paper work and paid 100 dollars straight away. I had to wait 4 hours before even being called back to speak with someone. When I finally get called back to discuss the procedure I find out they had made a mistake on my paper work and had me down for a surgical abortion when I wanted the pill! This was the final straw I saw that this staff had no idea what they were doing. It then became apparent that they just want to fit as many desperate girls into a day as they possibly could which equals more money in their pockets. They don't care about your well being or concerns. The staff are incompetent and ghetto as you could ever imagine. They actually acted like I did something wrong when I voiced my concerns about them taking a life or death procedure so lightly. There was no way in Hell I was letting these hacks touch my body and I asked to speak to someone in charge. They send some ignorant "director" in there who had already made her mind up that I was just being "hormonal" before she even got to me. I in no uncertain terms demanded my money back so I could go somewhere legit for my procedure. They acted like I was over reacting that they made a "MINOR" mistake when I had told them THREE times what procedure I was there for and they still got it wrong. They just have too many patients and have no order or competent system. The "director" claimed that an ultrasound that took 2 seconds cost 100 dollars and that there was no way to get my money back. When on the receipt it clearly states that part of the fee was the visit alone. It was a filthy living hell the whole time I was there. There are protestors outside warning you of this place and now I see why. I told them exactly what I thought which they didn't like but I could not care less at least they know not everyone is just going to sit back and let them take advantage of scared desperate women who need help. I left and am pursuing legal action to get my money back as they did not perform any service and had no intention of satisfying my concerns. ...read more

The prices are reasonable especially if you are a student and it includes a follow up exam. Everyone here is very helpful and no one judges you or the decisions you make. There is a wonderful counselor on hand to discuss all of your options if you are found to be pregnant, and if you decide to terminate it there is someone to hold your hand throughout the entire process. There are some protesters outside the facility, and although it is their 1st amendment right to protest, it is your right to put your best interests first.
