US Whitewater center....where to start!?\t\n\t\nMy first inclination is to tell you about the mountain bike trails (since I'm an avid mt. biker).....on a difficulty scale of 1 to 10 for an average biker, i give this a 7. Mainly because the majority of the difficulty here is aerobic because it's long and steep (uphill) on the black trails. Only a couple good jumps for the more advanced people, but there are a few tricky declines...don't let me fool you, I've bit it plenty of times here pretty hard! Overall I'd def say top 3 trails in Charlotte. \t\n\t\nI cannot comment on the actual rafting experience since I haven't done it yet, but it's well maintained, clean and the staff if generally really friendly. \t\n\t\nIf you have a little one it's pretty safe to say they will love the rock climbing wall as well as the zip line. Probably best to buy an all day pass to enjoy everything. \t\n\t\nLastly the events USNWC has are the best part, highly recommend if you have the means to see a show and have a few cold one! ...read more

Use to have a beautiful lake with nice path around it for walking and now has been drained and over grown with weeds and lots of snakes in the remaining water. Not an explanation to be found on any of the cities sites or at the park. A real shame. ...read more
