Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT move here! The management and office staff here are unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, and inefficient. I scheduled a move-out inspection over a month ago and no one ever showed up to do the inspection. When I called the leasing office, the receptionist told me that someone would do my inspection that same day before 5pm and that they would give me a call prior to arrival. Again, no one called or came to do the inspection. When I called a second time, a different receptionist said that maintenance was short-staffed that day, so no one was available. When I told her that I had been waiting all day and that no one called me earlier in the day to discuss rescheduling, she gave a half-hearted apology and said that she would leave a note and maybe someone could stop by the next day. This is BY FAR THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED. There are roaches and bugs everywhere, and when you ask the management to spray, they just blame you for bringing the bugs in with your stuff. They also promised us brand new appliances, but instead we got a stove, dishwasher and microwave straight out of the 1980s. Our dishwasher came with a roach trap in it. We also had severe water damage to our ceiling and our ceiling fan, and we were greeted with a nasty mold smell every time we walked in the door. The front office's mail etiquette sucks. We had many packages that were left in their closet for months without giving us notice that our packages arrived. Of course, they blamed the mailman, as blaming other people is a common theme for the Park at Chapel Hill. There are also several people who sit on the steps while they drink their 40s at 10 am on weekdays. Pretty much everything was as bad as it gets, so unless you want the worst rental experience possible, then do not live here. ...read more
