I started going to Gayle over 2 years ago, i had no hope in the healing process. At the time I began seeing Gayle I was having suicidal thoughts with a plan in my mind. I am a survivor of a very horrific assault and felt like I would never be able to live without fear. Thanks to Gayle, my dear friend Mary and the help of another specialist, I live a life free of fear. I have a wonderful service dog who helps me when I need him. When is the best time for me to get my ultrasound? *We can scan between 18-34 weeks, as long as you've already had your second trimester diagnostic scan with your doctor. *Between 18-27 weeks you get more body shots because the baby is smaller and the facial features aren't as well developed. This is an excellent time to determine your baby's gender and see more of your baby's body as he/she moves! *Between 27-34 weeks, the baby's face is more developed and mature. We tend to get more isolated pictures of the face, and the cheeks are much chubbier. You baby has grown so much that your whole baby will not fit on the ultrasound screen at this age! *Some people choose to come both times to see the baby as he or she changes.
