First of all this Florist that is advertised as Bright Blossoms Florist is located at 57 E Depot St, Angier, NC is located in Raleigh. I placed an order that we were going to pick up at noon. When my husband went to this address we found out that the business was not there. It was in Raleigh on South Saunders Street. When we went to the real location at 4pm, the order wasn't ready. When they fixed and gave it to us, it smelled like glue. The flowers did not last long either. AND to top it off they charged me the full price for the flowers! My name is SFC Randal Walker. As a Soldier in the United States Army for the past 21 years, I have been far away from home for many years. However, no matter where I have been, wether it be training in a foreign country or deployed throughout Afghanistan, Mcleods Florist has always been there for me. I have called, via Skype, many times to have flowers delivered for my mom and kids on special days as well as for members of my family who have passed away. They have always been helpful and always taken care of what I needed. Its a great feeling when you know the people in your home town always have your back, even when you are in some far away country. Today is my fathers Birthday. He passed away a few months prior to this deployment to Afghanistan. I called, once again today, and ordered flowers for him and my son, whom he is buried with. On a day like this, away from my own family, it brings some peace to me, knowing they will take care of things for me until I can get back home. ...read more
