Poplar is a part of the Roosevelt County region/metro area of Montana. Major attractions include American Legion Park and Lewis and Clark Bridge. Each year there is an annual Earth Day. Among the biggest companies in Poplar are Clover's Kitchen and Fort Peck Journal. The biggest schools here are Poplar High School and Poplar Middle School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Poplar is RBW Campground.

I think the Journal Reporters do an excellent coverage on reporting the Ft Peck upcoming, local, state and national news related to us on the Reservation. I do have one question. I see one of our tribal comittee members is running for Poplar school board, I am courious to know if he is working on his campaign promises. It would be interesting to see if all tribal officals are working on some of there platform issues. ...read more
