We specifically requested a "borg warner 1356 transfer case with a slip yoke output and manual shift,for a 1992 Ford F150 pickup with a 351 engine." We were told that they had this part in clean, good used condition. The part was priced at $350, no exchange.While we tried to find a part closer to our locale we found none in clean good ocndition. We traveled 90 miles (1 1/2 hrs)one way from our home to get this part. When we arrived at the place of businees the employee placed the part in our car and we paid $350 in cash.When we got the part home and checked the part we found that the business had sold us a a borg warner 4406 transfer case for a 1997 Ford F150. The borg warner 4406 is not compatible with our vehicle and had to be returned.
