Colstrip is a city located in Rosebud County, Montana. It is the county's largest city. It was named Montana's top sports town by Sport's Illustrated Magazine. Students living in the city attend the Colstrip Public Schools which consist of one elementary school, one middle school and the Colstrip High School. The town holds the Colstrip Days Festival annual the weekend before July fourth. There are numerous parks and recreational areas located in the city.
