You know this is my hometown and Iam in my 5o's and years later this MESS is still going on. There is NOTHING good anyone can really say about IPD. U have a FEW cops that are good ppl but from what I hear they rest are crocks. This new AChief calls himself trying to CLEAN up the city right?? well START with your OWN department.. too busy trying to get into officer's personal business that from what I hear he gets from other snitches.. well check your sources NEW CHIEF!!! man one that guiiving u info are crocks themselves. I just doNOT understand.. I wish the FED's would come in and take OVER and investigate this police department..just sad, and who allows someone to pay that small amount on a bail??? I mean the cops are NOT doing their jobs and NOR is this neew Chief..so SHAME to say Iam from Indianola just SAD!!!!!! Only in Mississipp can a man beat and kick a women in the face and all over her body and possible causing permanent damage can get arrest and be allow to post bail by paying $65.00. Just $65 little dollars. Then....There is no automatic restraining order. Then this guy makes phone calls to the woman, and send emails. Nothing can be done about this! This is an outrage. This lady is in can be in fear for her life and she is not be protected or it appears that the Police Department is not taking this serious. Does this women have to die before she get the Indianola Police Department to Care? These laws needs to be changed and changed now. How many women have to die before they get help? This guy have a history of violence and the Police Department knows it. We just found out his history. Police Department of Indianola is failing its citizens.
