Unfortunately, we had to learn the hard way as to how dishonest and shady O'Reilly's Machine shop is. They destroyed a $500. cylinder head for my Toyota Celica while attempting to take it apart for resurfacing. They have admitted to scaring and damaging the cylinder head but have yet to take responsibility. The head was dropped off on Jan. 29th, 2018, my son called on Jan 31st for an update and was told they were having trouble removing the rocker shaft. At that time my son informed them if they were struggling, please do not forcibly remove them. Two days later, on Friday afternoon, Feb. 2nd, O'Reilly's machine shop called to inform us the cylinder head was damaged. My son went in there to see the damage on Monday morning, Feb. 5th, and saw that the cylinder head was irreparably damaged as they proceeded to work on it by using a press on the shaft! Two weeks later and we are still waiting on them to make it right. Companies like this give Springfield, Missouri a bad name. ...read more

PLEASE SHARE!!!! A friend bought a rear end for her truck from Bayless Auto Salvage for a $1000, 6 weeks ago.. not knowing how Crappy of a business they are (Her Fault). 2 weeks later after them installing it I noticed a grinding noise & the leaking of axle fluid, took it in & they fixed the leaking. 3 days ago she took her truck to Another shop because the noise is progressively worse & they said the Rear and is Done for, because Bayless's Mechanic Didn't fix it right the First time. She went to Bayless, NOT only were they Rude, they REFUSE to work with her in Anyway even though it is Their Fault the part is Broken.. She even asked to talk to the owner (John Bayless) yesturday & was told Twice he WASN'T there as she was looking the owner in the eyes, acting like she didn't know who he was.
