Feinberg, James Dr.

5.0

By Bdentinger1

Dr. Feinberg is exactly what my son needed.. He made my son feel comfortable and was able to get him to talk about what was going on in his life. His ability to get my son to open up and discuss what he was struggling with was very impressive. Dr. Feinberg was able to earn our sons trust so they could work on his issues together. My son really likes to spend time with Dr. Feinberg and it really shows that he cares about our family. I would highly recommended Dr. F to anyone with kids going thru life challenges. He has a unique ability to work with kids and their families to help discover what’s going on and develop a plan to address the issues. My son has come along way and we have Dr. F. To thank. ...read more

My son Eric Makela was discharged to a family outsider without the permission of any family member. I am his Health Care POA.and all the time he was there no nursing staff would ever talk to me. I left many voice mail messages with no results. Without any notification another person discharged him while I was at Missouri Baptist Hospital arranging for my husband's discharge. When I returned home I found the doors were open and the TV on. Eric does not have a key to our house. He fond a door that I had left unlocked so that I could get my husband in the house easier. Dr Feinberg made our son feel comfortable, identified some things related to anxiety and self esteem that we need to be aware of, and helped us to understand our sons ADHD and how it impacts the way he looks at himself. He gave us ways to reinforce good decision-making in order to build upon his self-esteem. His therapy dog added to a safe environment that helped our son connect to Dr Feinberg as well. Our son enjoyed his visits with Dr F and they have helped our family immensely. ...read more
