I had a national shoe store double charged me for a transaction – once debit and once credit. The company tried to deny it and say it was my banks fault. It was their fault all the way. After getting nowhere with the shoe store I contacted commerce bank. They immediately gave me a credit in the amount of the debit transaction and contacted the shoe store on a three-way conference call with me. Then the Commerce Bank Representative made the Representative from the Shoe Store admit it was completely their fault. I was amazed that Commerce Bank gave me the credit even though it was not their fault. I was more amazed at how they handled calling the Store with me to get justice. In the end The Store Sent me a Check for the Money they owed me. I called Commerce and told them I got the check and they could take back the credit they gave me. ...read more
