Gateway Alarm Inc

1.0

By iWin

I would NOT RECOMMEND Gateway Alarm for the following reasons: 1) Poor customer service. They have generally not been very nice to deal with and in a dispute were CONDESCENDING and more interested in slandering a family member than resolving the dispute in a satisfactory way. 2) Hidden termination fee. If you own your own alarm system, BEWARE, they change the installer code of your system without your agreement and then charge you $80 to change it back so you can use another monitoring company. 3) There are many BETTER OPTIONS out there in the St. Louis area: I am trying NextAlarm.com, who can set everything up over the phone and have multiple affordable monitoring options, including not requiring a phoneline at all. Other friends recommended FrontPoint Security and Erker Security when I was looking for a new company. I know its only one review, but I hope this helps others avoid the PROBLEMS I had with Gateway Alarm. iWin. ...read more
