9-12-09 We are off to a great start this fall as we continue our work towards accreditation and prepare to open a second location in Bourbon MO. The second program will be DBA: Beginning Steps Early Learning Center and it will also be licensed for 20 children ages 6 wks to 6 years. We hope to be licensed and open to serve families in a week or so. We love being able to mix the toddlers with the older children and have found it really aids in Language Development. Several of our toddlers have used 3-4 word sentences by 20 months of age. Some special fall events will include taking the group Trick R Treating in the Sunnen Business park on October 30 and our annual Thanksgiving lunch for parents and families on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. ...read more
