Bridal Boutique
By Monica Stephens December 10, 2011
I went in the boutique just to look with my mom. I am 7 months pregnant and told them i wasn't intrested in buying today, just looking, and they still helped me. They were the nicest ladies ever and really considered my budget and told me prices of things so I could get a good idea of what I could afford. They were very personal and kind and I will definatly be going back there to buy my dress! ...read more

This was the WORST experience EVER. I called to see if I needed an appointment and she told me no but from the very moment I stepped into the store she treated me like dirt. The first thing she said is " What do you need?". In the rudest way and treated me and my older sister like we were 12 (I'm 24). She pointed me to where I should begin looking and never once helped us find dresses. At one point she asked what my budget was (around 700) and from that point it got worse. She barked at my sister "no! thats too much" before we even would look at a dress.and one dress I was very interested in was 850 and she said for me not to even try it on. also, i had been trying on size 6 which are a little too big and she would NOT let me even try on a dress that was a 4. She yelled at my sister for asking to carry a dress, me for trying to pull one down a little-like it would fall apart or something, and for them not to touch the ground.they weren't even that nice. MUCH more happened.DONT GO ...read more

Log Furniture: Not Just Another Business, It's About Family
Daniel and Joy Manners first pioneered Timber Creek Furniture in the Flathead Valley of Montana in 1996. When they returned to the midwest to be close to family and roots, they brought much more than logs. They brought their very own Timber Creek Furniture brand, which is built on superior craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer service based on trust. Though the trees aren't exactly growing in their backyard here in Missouri, Daniel continues to hand-pick the lodgepole pine, scrape each log with a drawknife, and fashion each piece into a one-of-a-kind "work of art". Of course, his art is actually very functional, high-quality log furniture that increases the comfort and beauty of its surroundings. Although a picture can say a thousand words, there is nothing that compares to seeing this log furniture firsthand. The craftsmanship has been marveled as "outstanding", and the care that each client receives is personal, just like family. For those who are unable to make it to the showroom in Saint Joseph, Missouri: It's safe to say that if you love what you see online, you'll love it even more when you receive it at your door! ...read more

Cowboys & Indians Magazine
Timber Creek Furniture was pleased to be chosen by Cowboys&Indians magazine to be mentioned in their April issue. We were included in an article that highlighted St. Joseph, Missouri as the old western town where the Pony Express began. The Pony Express Museum and the home of Jesse James are just two of the tourist attractions that help make St. Joseph a great place to live. If you plan on being in the area, we invite you to call us anytime to set up a showroom appointment.
