In 27 years of owning trucks I have never been spoken to in the manner of which this freight broker ( and I use the term loosely ) spoke to me in. They are very rude and unprofessional. continued from previous comment---------\n\nchance to respond properly just slammed the phone. I called back to try and get the better understanding of whats going on only to get screamed at again, at this point I was in shock because we didnt deserve any of this. These guys working at Bama logistics should be all fired they have no customer service skill, and all because of the TONU of $150. They think they can just yell and hang up the phone at people, honest people that did they end of the contract and job properly and professionally. I have never in my 12 year career in customer service, have encountered such irresponsible and unprofessional broker like Bama Logistics. I have spoken to their dispatch department at 4:30pm after my driver called and told me that they are closing the shipper and they wont load him. Driver arrived at 3pm the shipper was closing at 4pm. The whole time at the shipper they were telling my driver just wait and we will load you, only at the end to find out from the supervisor that everyone is gone and that he has to wait till tomorrow morning. Naturally we called Bama Logistics right away at 4:25pm when we learned about the problem, Jeff told me that he will call me back within 5 minutes. After half an hour I called back and the same guy Jeff answered the phone and he put me on hold right away, someone else picked up and started yelling at me that I was swearing and screaming at their brokers, the whole time I was polite until this "manager picked up the phone" he didnt even give me a ...read more
