Beware! My daughter went to cash a pay check drawn on U S Bank and because my daughter does not have an account with U S Bank they charged her to cash the check. My daughter is a student at a local University and not from MO. The employer is a local establishment and again the account the check was written from is a U S Bank account. I have never heard of such a practice in my life. I could understand trying to cash a check not drawn on that bank and charging a fee or refuse to cash it, but to charge a fee to cash a check from their own bank is robbery. Would they take the fee out if she deposited the check in her bank? No! So what is the difference other than her presenting it is person. I am very disgusted with this bank and will persue this further. If I could give this less than one star I would. ...read more
