Should your iPhone ever get wet, refrain from the temptation to immediately turn it on to "see if it still works", as this may cause more damage due to short circuiting via the conductivity of liquids and cause major damage inside of your phone. Allow it to dry. One method of doing this, as crazy as it sounds, is to place your iPhone in the oven, leave the door cracked open and set the temperature as low as it will go (usually 125 degrees is good). Leave it in for several hours or overnight.
