Pomona is a part of the Howell County region/metro area of Missouri. Major attractions include Dean Davis State Wildlife Area and Rock Garden Christian Services Camp. Each year in the summer season there is the Annual Christmas for Kids Poker Run. Among the biggest companies in Pomona are C & L Roofing and My Credit Shot Com. The biggest schools here are Turner School and Boatman School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Pomona is the Highway 63 Grand Prix.

Robertts home moved a singlewide for us approx 30 miles. only problem was a semi did not yield, and ran our driver off the road. somehow, the driver got it off the ditch and kept rolling. our house could have been destroyed, but the driver saved it. once we got to our site, they had to "bridge" it ' over a ditch. they did a great job!!!! we will be using their services again some day.
