I think Johns Super is a decent place to shop and its prices are close to everyone else and I do not have to drive to Walmart. I am sure if someone gave your husband their phone number and you told John Knipker personally he would speak to them. The main reason I shop at Johns Super is due to the FACT that John, His wife, and family are christians and with the economy as tight as it is he is probably having hard times also. not as dirty as the Excelsior store, but well on the way. I would be afraid to buy anything from there. can't figure out why they won't spend a penny on cleaning the place up. thanksgiving prices are higher than price chopper and hy-vee to buy a turkey, plus you have to spend 30 dollars to get the higher price. hy-vee is only 20, and price chopper is 25. why would anyone shop here? skip the dirt and shop somewhere else. ...read more

John's super is the worst grocery store I have ever been in. The place is so dirty and it stinks the minute you walk in the door. Most of the items on the shelf are outdated and the frozen food is always full of ice crystals from being thawed out and refrozen. The meat department and the deli are the worst. The meat department is always filthy and the meat is green in colored and stinks. The meat cutters do not know how to cut meat. The deli is just as bad all them girls back there are fat and dirty looking. They are hateful to the customers and are always fighting among theirselves. Then they get the customers involved in their fighting. John you really need to close that store it really makes Kearney look bad. You don't have any business to speak of so why keep it open. The parking lot is always empty. No one wants to come in the for groceries and be exposed to that filth. Close it and save yourself from anymore disgrace. ...read more
