Jim king had his work cut out in training me. 6 months ago I called Jim to discuss my physical condition. When I started being trained by Jim King at King's Hard knocks Gym, I was weak and 100 pounds overweight. In the 6 months I have tripled my overall strength and have lost a total of 67 pounds. My son Ka has been going to King's Hard Knocks for over a year. We have seen a big improvement in Ka's strength. He went from bench pressing 185 to 405lbs. And he is still getting stronger. But the main thing that Jim helps him with is not only strength, but he has helped Ka with his self esteem. Great place to go, I recommend this place to anyone. Ka Tuione
I want to tell the world how proud I am of a young man by the name Ka Tuione. Ka Tuione has been training at King's Hard Knocks Gym around a year and a half. Starting out Ka was a shy and timid young man standing 6'-6" tall and 325 pounds. Ka was the largest high school athlete that I had ever trained but also the weakest. Over the past year and a half Ka has transformed his body from a weak fat big man, to a quick and extremely strong human being. Ka's first training session was on the bench press. His starting weight was 135 pounds for 5 sets of 10 reps. After 1 year of training King's Hardcore Strength&Endurance; Training he broke his High Schools all time bench press record of 365 by pressing 405 pounds. Ka also just received an offer from Missouri Valley State College a scholarship to play offensive tackle next year. Ka's hardwork and dedication is the reason for his success. Overtraining?
If you are working out just about everyday and wondering why your not getting any stronger, the reasonis simple and fixable. The answer is only work the major body parts 1 time every 7 days. I am referring to training exercises ONLY( Bench Press, Squat&Deadlift.) You can do hundreds of other exercises while giving yours chest, back & legs time to rest.
