We had a very bad experience with Steve Burkhart mobile homes. We were selling a near new home that Steve said he had sold on 2 different occasions. He said the last deal was 100 % sold. He called us on a Monday morning asking if we could have the entire trailer's furnishings cleared out and ready to be in move in condition by Friday. We live in Branson mo. and the trailer was 5 hours away. We did some fast rearranging of our schedules and worked like dogs all week to get the trailer in move in condition. Including renting a u-haul, and staying in a motel until the job was complete. On the day were to close Steve gave us so many different stories on why he could not be there it was unreal. Supposidldy he had 3 women who were going to buy it, but kept giving us conflicting stories of why he could come up with the money. Long story short, he did not get the money and we left to come home with title still in hand. He lies so much he doesnt know which lie he told last. Bad business ... ...read more
