I have been in the food service selling buisness for 28 years for a major company before retiring 5 years ago and never experienced anything like this at an eating eastablishemt. This past Sunday, June 12, 2011, we stopped for dinner with our grandson prior to returning to our St. Cloud residence. I must say this was the most frustrating and terrible experience in dining (or attempting to) that we ever have been a part of! All I can say is, DEPLORABLE and shame on the owners for such POOR training and lack of people on staff (with NO manager on site), who even were arguing in front of us prior to leaving this place! R U kidding me? How can this place possibly be OPEN or REMAIN open ?? POOR FOOD, 30 MINUTE WAIT FOR MYSELF, WITH THE WAITRESS ASKING ME TO TAKE MY ENTREE OFF HER PLATTER FOR HER as she could not hand it to me...UNBELIEVABLE!! My husband and I have been to this restuarant many times over the last 7 years its been in business. Each time we go, we learn a little tidbit of history. This year we went over Valentine's weekend and learned that it was taken back from a previous owner who had sold it to his Chef. I'm quite amazed that despite the extensive history w/ various owners and chefs, it has remained true to its excellent reputation! I've never been disappointed. I don't remember meeting the new owners in the past, but it's so refreshing to find such a genuine & sincerely gracious entreprenuer! I trulyfelt that my business was greatly appreciated - night and day difference from the typical restaurant! My server was equally as hospitable and made our dining experience something special! The prices on the menu are spendy, but the food, service and atophere made it all worthwhile. It' an experience in of itself to use the restroom!
