Bald Eagle Boat Rental & Bait

1.0

By Silverdaisy

We went to Bald Eagle Lake Boat Rental with living social certificate for a pontoon rental. We even brought company with us! I felt so terrible that I even brought company! The boat was a disaster! The pictures on the website were not at all what we were given to ride! The seats were shredded and exposed foam was the primary cushion. The rest of the material on the seat had massive amts of mildew. The motor maxed us out with only 3 adults and 2 children on it, at 5-7mph. The instrument panel did not work--no working horn, no working cigarette lighter for using a radio. Upon entering the boat we found a small dead fish on the floor. We waited 30 minutes past our reserved time to board too!I felt robbed, cheated, and lied to! I called the boat owner and left a voicemail saying that I felt he had falsely advertised and I'd like to speak with him. He hasn't called me back yet, but somehow I can't see the pics of the boats any longer on his website. ...read more

Bald Eagle Boat Rental & Bait

1.0

By beebopp

We paid $90 for two hours on the "Captain" a pontoon boat that is supposed to have a canopy, per their web site, but does not. Nor does it have usable seating - every seat on the boat is ripped open, exposed foam, all the hinges are busted, the storage areas are full of trash, the boat has been wrecked, and the fish blood splatters on the seats, which are also mildewed and stained beyond recognition, was the icing on the cake. Will never go back again. Too bad, the kid working the shop on the weekends was super nice. He seems to have some business sense and treated us as well as he could, but we were completely ashamed to even be in the boat. As our five-year old stated - it was "horrendous, murky, and the most horrible-est boat ever!" ...read more
