Merry Christmas!
CBUSA is going to be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. With only 3 regular employees we felt it best to close. We also will not have delivery offered on the Friday after Christmas. Christmas is celebrated as the birth of the Christ Child. But at least as much as time just celebrating each other and our friends and family. It used to stress me out that such a "holy" holiday was so much about things other than "God's gift to people." But things just "holy" seem to be "stuffy". I think we miss it when we get stuffy. I believe that God created us as people of joy and celebration. Any yes there is ample grief and pain and major injustice. But we have an opportunity... In the beginning, we were put an a garden of perfection, we messed it up. God's message of Christmas is, you, YOU mudded it up, but I love you and I will clean up your mess. We as people created in God's image and likeness have the chance at Christmas and all year at all times, to do likewise, see folks who messed up and forgive and help clean up their mess: Parents who did and said awful things, brothers and sisters who cheated and lied, "friends" who betrayed us...
