Graf Optical's "Spectacle of Fashion"!

Graf Optical's recent "Spectacle of Fashion" was a great success! A truly spectacular evening was enjoyed by all who attended on Thursday, May 20th. The event took place on the Seven Sushi Sky Bar in downtown Minneapolis. Beautiful weather and delicious food and drink made for an enjoyable evening on the roof for our guests. The event was made possible through a partnership with IAmMoody.com who helped secure the talent and ensured our entertainment! The event was the first annual Sunglass Fashion Show for Graf and featured frames from several upscale vendors including Prada, Gucci, Tag Heuer, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Kaenon, OGI, and more! The event kicked off with food and beverages and time for our guests to visit each booth and try on the frames. The fashion show was MC-ed by Richard Moody himself and was a fun and entertaining show! The models walked a runway that wrapped around the rooftop for all to see. They showed off our featured frames and eye-wear and wore designer clothes and styles donated by local vendors. The show was certainly a spectacular sight! The event was attended by about 250 guests who love perusing and purchasing our fashionable frames! For each pair that was bought that day, we are donating a pair of glasses to seniors who cannot afford eye wear. If you qualify for this or know someone who is, contact our office at (651) 631-8112 orinfo@grafoptical.comto receive a voucher (while supplies last, so call soon!) In addition to the donated frames, we gave away contact solution, did hourly drawings for Twins tickets, and even did a grand prize drawing for two plane tickets courtesy of Sun Country Airlines! The guests were very busy with all of the booths, entertainment, food and drink specials, and giveaways!A special thanks to Seven Sushi and their management for being first class hosts of the event! An additional thanks to the vendors and talent who donated their time for the night!More photos from the event! Each vendor sponsored a platter of sushi and complimentary drinks for their guests! The vendors had easy-to-browse displays and countless different styles, models, and colors for people to try on and pick from! The models sported our latest eye wear styles and donated clothes from area boutiques!Guest had fun trying on the frames, enjoying the entertainment, and indulging in the delicious complimentary refreshments!A HUGE thanks to everyone who attended and supported our event! If you have any questions about our products or offers, contact us at (612) 631-8112,info@grafoptical.com, or visit our store in Roseville at 1605 West County Road C! ...read more

Courtesy Transition Style Lenses for fans after Yankee Twins rainout

Graf Optical1605 West County Road C.Roseville, Minnesota  55113Phone: (651) 631-8112Fax:  (651) 631-2113e-mail:info@grafoptical.comhttp://www.grafoptical.comDear Twins fans that were in attendance at last nights Twins vs. Yankees game:If you were one of the Twins fans that went to the Yankee game last night only to see the game canceled and your ticket stub become worthless you might be feeling a little upset this morning.  Your ticket, that you probably paid good money for, is not valid for the completion of last nights game.  The people that are attending tonight's Wednesday May 26th, 2010 game get to see the game you paid money for free. Unless you've got tickets for tonight's game you paid a lot of money to sit through five rain drenched innings and not see its conclusion.First, we can't get upset at the Minnesota Twins, which are a quality organization for customer service from top to bottom.  We've worked with them before and give them five starts for efforts and accommodations to other partner businesses such as ourselves.  It's a major league baseball rule, not a Twins rule, that after five innings and the game is tied, it's played the next day and the ticket holders of the rained out game are out of luck.  This rule, however, is no consolation for everyone that wants to see the end of a game that they paid for but can't because of Major League Baseball's quirky rules. In order to sooth the frustration and anger that a lot of ticket holders that attended lat night's game are feeling right now Graf Optical is giving away FREE transition style lenses between now and Saturday, May 29th, 2010.  Now that the rain has cleared and given way to the sun, we invite you to bring in your ticket stub from Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 Yankees vs. Twins game.Transition lenses change from light to dark depending on sunlight or, as in the case of last night, rain.  Simply bring in your old frame or when you purchase a new one and we'll put the transition lenses in on us!We understand that this won't take away the pain of not being able to see the conclusion of today's game, unless you have a ticket for tonight's game.  But, it will at least give you a feeling that you walked away from the game with more than just five innings of soggy baseball. With regards,Graf Optical Customer Service Team :)Disclaimer:  Graf Optical is not affiliated with the Minnesota Twins or Major League Baseball.  The Minnesota Twins and all logo are property of Major League Baseball and the Minnesota Twins ...read more
