I have visited American Radiator a few times. The first time I took in a GHolod Wing radiator I thought leaked. They soldered the input and output tubes a bit, but said it was sound. It was. They also guaranteed it for a year. Recently i took my Acura in to get a radiator replaced., They charged way less than two other garages charged for the same work in the past. Skip is very helpful and trustworthy and is even looking into finding a locksmith to program a remote for my daughter's Mazda at much less than a dealer wants. i will admit that when i pulled up to american, i was a little skeptical - but i am now eating my words. the a/c had on my car had only been working intermittently. i called skip and he said i could drop it off any weekday morning around 8 and they'd take a look at it.so, i did just that. when i called back around 2pm to check on it, skip gave me a very detailed description of exactly what they'd tested, exactly what they'd found, and exactly how they'd fixed it. when i came in to pick it up, he even took the time to show me what they'd discovered.i am incredibly impressed with skip and american and i will absolutely be bringing my car back here if i ever have a/c troubles again. ...read more

I took my Toyota in to have the radiator and temperature gauges looked over. Skip took a few hours to check out the whole cooling system and found nothing wrong. He told me to watch the temperature gauge in case something was getting ready to happen. I asked him how much I owed for the check-up. He said nothing!!! When something happens just bring it back and we'll take care of it. Can you believe this! An honest, helpful mechanic with a great attitude!!! I'll be back for all repairs to my car from here on out. I would suggest everyone to use American Auto Radiator & AC for everything you need for your auto repairs, tune ups, and general maintenance.
