My wife and I had are taxes processed by Tacs in 2009. We turned them in a week and half before the deadline and did not hear back until the day before they were due. In previous years, we have received a refund or ended up even. This year we needed to pay in about $1,000. They spent some time trying to explain, but they weren't very clear as to why things changed so drastically. Because they waited so long to connect with us, we had a huge surprise of owing money, and they weren't able to explain why, I would strongly recommend finding some else to do your taxes, or doing them yourself and save paying them $200 or more.
