New Ulm is a city located in and the county seat of Brown County, Minnesota. The city is the Upper Midwest's brewing center and is home to the August Schell Brewing Company. The city is home to the Defender's, Hermann, and German Bohemian Monuments. Other major attractions in New Ulm include the 45 foot tall, 595 pound glockenspiel in Schonalu Park and the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame. The city, considered the Polka Capital of the Nation, is also host to many annual events such as Oktoberfest and Bock Fest.
