I have had many many groomers in the past twenty some years. I've had seven Maltese that need extra care in grooming. Most groomers complain about matts and say they have to SHAVE the dog. This place has decent training. Although there is a good amount of drama in the company between the clients. I recently (more than one month ago) cancelled my membership. This is because they overcharged for a one year membership by two months and I did not get a refund. Even after my cancellation they kept charging the credit card now I need to do a charge back. Another downside is they keep financial information (paper copy of the back and front of your credit card and license) in the front of the building in an unlocked cabinet. We have five children participating in the kids program at St. Louis Park Gracie Barra. They range from five to thirteen years years old.It is so wonderful to be able to take all of our kids to one class, together. The instructors have been professional and patient with all of our kids.We wanted an atmosphere that would be inclusive and very family friendly, and we have found it in Gracie Barra. The kids just competed in their first tournament and the display of support from the coaches, other parents and students in the adult classes was so very encouraging. Having an older student pull aside my kids to help them work on grappling before their matches meant the world to my kids and impressed me.
