There's a big disconnect between my opinion of the management/office staff (fantastic, even through the multiple transitions we've had over the past couple years) and my opinion of the people that live here. There's just a consistent lack of common courtesy... whether it be smoking on the balconies (visually seen multiple times) or the garage areas (haven't visually seen but have easily smelt), not returning the carts to the garage level when you're done with them, or not respecting the quiet hours. Really you have to expect these kinds of things when living in an apartment community in general, and especially one that skews younger such as ours, but one can always hope and dream... ...read more

I really liked Katy the old leasing lady who I applied with. She was much more laid back and less pushy then our current building manager. When he came in he falsely notified me and two other people I know in the building that we hadn't paid certain rents or our security deposits from months ago and it wasn't the case. It was frustrating that he came in thinking he was fixing the system and he was too quick to send these notices out when they ended up being false. Otherwise he is nice and follows through with things. ...read more

Are you wondering if this is a good time to buy a home?
I believe it is! The housing market right now is perfect for those buyers that have been wanting to get into their own home for awhile but not able to because of high prices in the past. This market is also for those that want to upgrade to a nicer or bigger home. The price of houses right now are very low compared to what they were a few years ago. A home that was worth $255,000 in 2005 is now appraised at $195,000 in some areas. Thats a $60,000 difference! Not only are prices low but the interest rates are at around 5% for a home mortgage. Thats low! They haven't been this low in years. Do you think they will stay this low for much longer? I don't.Do you want another reason? This is huge! The Homebuyers Tax Incentive of either $6500 or $8000! If you are a first time homebuyer or haven't owned your own home in the last 3 years and your income is below $125,000 for a single person and $225,000 for a married couple you qualify for up to $8000! If you have lived in your home the last 5 years out of 8 and are looking to buy a new home for your primary residence you also qualify for $6500! Now these houses must be $800,000 or less but I think that won't be a problem for the average homebuyer. :) THIS EXPIRES APRIL 30th! So don't miss this opportunity!Having the house of your dreams is possible right now. You not only will have the pride of home ownership but you will be investing in your future. DREAM BIG! It's all up to you to make them happen!Carol Turan-Realtor 763-219-3254 Each Office Independently Owned and Operated ...read more
