On Sunday April 17, 2011 we participated in the 35th International Day hosted at Mankato East High School.  It was fun to meet people not only from the region but from around the world and discuss our connections with the Asian cultures that developed the martial arts we teach.  I even had a chance to speak with some Japanese exchange students in Japanese. We performed two demonstrations, one on the stage featuring Muay Thai, Aikido, Judo, Karate, Tae Kown Do, and Kobudo, and a second on the gym floor that featured Karate, Kobudo, and Tae Kwon Do. Everyone was very nice, and the food from around the globe was delicious. I look forward to meeting people there next year for the 36th annual event.www.katomma.comwww.lonsdalekarate.com ...read more
