I read the first post last year and thought it was a fluke so we camped here anyway. What a mistake. We'll never go back. The owner is very rude, condescending and two-faced. She actually complained to us about other campers in the campground telling us every little thing they were doing "wrong". When you drive in it looks like a very kid-friendly place with a nice playground, but the owner is constantly yelling at every kid no matter what they were doing and then complaining to the other campers about it. I felt like I was in high school again...very immature. While I'm sure that all kids are perfect in their parents eyes, not all of them can be nearly as bad as she makes the sound. This is definitely not a family-friendly campground and the professionalism of the caretaker is minimal. The caretaker of this resort hates children! She was freakishly rude to all the children there, sitting on her deck smoking and waiting for the slightest infraction to occur. Then she bolts down to the beach or your campground, and even yells at kids in front of their parents. It was almost creepy. ...read more
