Floodwood is a part of the St. Louis County region/metro area of Minnesota. Major attractions include Retreat Golf Club and Floodwood Historica Marker. Each year in the fall season there is the Annual Catfish Days. Among the biggest companies in Floodwood are Floodwoods Bridgemans and STARDUST MOTEL. The biggest schools here are Floodwood Elementarty School and Floodwood High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Floodwood is Willowbrook Golf Course.
