Currie is a part of the Murray County region/metro area of Minnesota. Major attractions include End-O-Line Railroad Park and Rupp State Wildlife Management Area. Each year in the summer season there is the Annual Fourth of July Celebration. Among the biggest companies in Currie are Bassett Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning and T-Tommy's. The biggest schools here are Currie Elementary School and Currie High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Currie is Scheiers on Shetek Campground.
