after filing out a complaint on the headquarters website I am happy to say they resolved my issue and compensated me for my troubles. On top of this the actual manager, Connie, sent a very well written letter apologizing for the error and the handling of the dispute. Tonight I reviewed my wife's grocery bill as it appeared to be higher than it should be for what she bought. Turns out they charged us for Pinenuts when she bought slivered almonds. A difference of around 20 dollars a pound!!!! Although this is the closest Cub to us it is still many miles away so I attempted to get this resolved over the phone. I called in to the store and explained the situation and they stated they could not help me and transferred me to a manager. The "manager" Gail could not help me and told me I had to come into the store in the morning and speak to the manager to get a refund. I explained how that would cost me more in gas and asked her to process a refund over the phone. She stated that was impossible. I informed her that I support a large retailer and have seen it done.
