Was cut off on the road today by an extremely aggressive driver who had advertisements on his truck regarding this business with this phone number. The guy also yelled and flipped the bird. Driver was halfway out the window screaming. Apparently, big anger issues. I wouldn't even consider doing business with them. ...read more

Do not work with this company or owner Mark Strandlund. He has stiffed us on nearly $5000.00 and refuses to return phone class, emails and faxes. I recommend staying as far away as possible from this company. ...read more

Foods that can be deadly for dogs..

Hello, first I want to take a moment to thank you for looking at my blog. I am very passionate about what I do. I love animals and have all of my life. New Years is coming up and I just wanted to share a few pointers to help your dogs make it through the day. If you are making a New Years diiner It is okay to give your dog some turkey and some potatoes and even some carrots and peas. The one thing that we really need to be careful of is turkey bones (if you are making a turkey, or ham bone if you are making ham. When I worked at the animal hospital we had dogs come in every year around the holidays due to them eating bones from turkeys and ham and even chicken. A few of them needed surgery as the bones got stuck where they could not be reached other then surgery. When we are done with our holiday meal I put all of the bones and put them in a separate bag and throw them out in the garbage right away. This way they are not in the house and my dog or any other dog that is here does not feel tempted to get into the garbage and eat them tempting bones. Another thing that we need to watch out for is onion, and garlic. These are often in the stuffing and or other foods that we eat for Holiday meals. Onion and garlic can really be harmful to a dog. It can make them very sick. Even cooked it can be harmful to your buddy. It can kill their red blood cells. There are some fruits that pet cannot have, and one of them are grapes, if they eat them, then it can cause kidney failure. Macadamia nuts are bad for dogs. They are toxic but we are not sure why, but they can cause a very upset tummy. White bread and buns can be another one that can harm a dog, though if given in small amounts every once in a while seems to be okay, but not to much at one time as to much can lead to dreaded pancreatitis in dogs. Raw dough is another one that is not good for dogs. Many people make their own bread and rolls, and buns for the holidays, and if they are given the raw dough it can rise in your dogs tummy and cause some awful pain. Their tummy will get very bloated even to the point that it can make their tummies twist and even turn positions that may need surgery to fix. Xylitol! Sweetners like xylitol can be very dangerous to your fur baby. It can even kill your dog. There is a lot of baking and people buying baked breads, cookies and such for Thanksgiving and a lot of times there is xylitol in them. Especially in things that say low sugar or sugar free. Peanut butters can have this as well. Also watch out for the gum a lot of them have xylitol in them. I hope that reading this helps your dog and you have a wonderful Holiday and be able to enjoy your foods and enjoy your pups. ...read more
