I have to agree with another review on a different site. The Klothes Kloset used to be reasonably priced but not for the past few years. I don't even go there anymore because every time I do I become angry. I have a low income (single income for myself and children with no assistance) and go looking for a good deal out of necessity. A few years back I found USED clothing at Klothes Kloset that I could have found cheaper <and new> in the store on sale. I returned this summer and even the SALES price was ridiculous for comforters that were worn and tattered. My thoughts? If the items were cheaper, there would be more flow of new items throughout the store along with more customers. A friend told me he'd become upset and left without purchasing anything when he offered a lower amount of money for ripped jeans to use for painting. He said the staff person was rude to him and he will never return. Furniture items are astoundingly over-priced. However, I'm grateful for the Someplace Safe Thrift Store (priced and managed well) and that Goodwill will be opening soon. ...read more

I have never met such a rude person in my entire life. I brought three boxes of excellent clothing in and was offered pocket change as a tax write off. When I simply said that amount seemed very small, the woman went off on me, getting inches away from my face and telling me to take my clothes somewhere else then, slamming the door behind me as I left.
