We have hired seven CCA graduates. Some clerical and accounting, some AutoCAD designers and some as engineering major students while they were continuing their education in major universities. During the performance of their jobs every one of these CCA graduates proved to be down to earth practical and honest and their excellent math and english skills proved to be far superior to the many other young people we have hired over our 30 years of providing engineering services. One graduate hired 17 years ago was recently promoted to Vice President. As co-founder and owner of Duckworth & Associates I am highly recommending Calvary Christian Academy. ...read more

I attended Calvary Christian Academy 2nd-12th grade. At CCA you will find a staff that is fully devoted to ministering to the students. You will get to know the teachers on a personal level. If you are struggling in a class they will go to whatever lengths to help you. I graduated from CCA in 2005 and I still maintain relationships with many of the teachers. In my opinion they are some of the most godly people you will meet. Scriptures are incorporated into all subjects. Bible classes were excellent- challenged you in your spiritual life. Chapels were great. I found the dress code to be a blessing in disguise. At first the idea of wearing uniforms everyday was not appealing but the uniforms were very comfortable. It was nice not having to worry about what to wear or what everyone else was wearing. They also offer many casual days where students are allowed to dress down. Sports were a huge part of jr. high and high school for me. I was able to participate in both girls volleyball and basketball. We were very competitive in basketball. One of the girls on our team went on to receive a full ride scholarship from North Dakota State University. Soccer was offered for girls as well. One nice thing were the small classes. My graduating class had about 27 kids. We were very close and I have maintained the friendships since graduating. My experience at CCA was priceless. I look back fondly on my years at CCA. When I have children I intend to send them to CCA. ...read more

This so called school is the worst mistake that my parents have made involving my life ever. I have to been to schools where 1 out of 10 people were drug-dealers and that beat CCA by a mile. I've been to a school where the pushed their extreme conservative agenda down our throats, so much that I actually liked George W. B., but even though they did, it still beat CCA by a mile. If your a parent out there reading this, please do NOT send your kid to this school. You may say, "But, I want my kid to have a good Christian education." There are many other Christian schools out there. And besides, this school doesn't build you up in Christ, because of the teacher's carnalness and jugmentalness, I found it real hard to be a Christian for the longest time. Not only that, it is not a good education. Before going to this school, i had a 3.9 GPA. Now after attending, I'm lucky if I get a 3.2. It's not because it's harder, it's just that most teacher could care less what you got. And the rules there! Immediate Dentions are: chewing gum, wearing a coat in class(even if it's extremely cold), having a cell phone out(even if it's to look at the time), 1 second late for class(even if you were frantically looking for last night's homework), having food in class, and my favourite, throwing something to someone(letting my friend borrow a pen). And the uniforms they make you wear are so degrading and uncomforable. And these are just the reasons that it's bad for your kid. It's bad for you because tution is just horrible! 400 a month! Thats 3, 600 a year! And not to mention the uniforms are really expensive. And the school is so cheap that they barely give any money to the sports programs. It makes me sad because there is so much talent, but because they are money-hungry, they can't buy good equipment. In conclusion, this school makes kids lives miserable, I know first hand. I'm begging you, never send your kids to this school. ...read more
