Mexitel Cellular Communications Corp

Mexitel is THE way to go to get cheap and convenient cell phone service in Mexico. Last year (Feb. 2012) my wife and I went to the Mayan Riviera. We wanted to be able to use a cell phone cheaply for convenience but also in case of any emergencies while our youngest daughter was travelling in Eastern Europe. Thankfully no emergencies arose - though we were able to and did make contact, but the peace of mind knowing communication was easily available was very relaxing, enhancing our wonderful and relaxing vacation. That and the ability to find out anything about where we might be headed or want to go to cheaply meant we also were not concerned at all about husbanding air time or worrying about unknown charges to come...Last year I shopped a lot. On-line recommendations led me to Mexitel. Comparisons helped me choose them, This year I am not shopping - I'm just getting our phone for our trip from Mexitel. You should, too. Protege Delivery

Horrible unprofessional service. Call the day b4 delivery to say they're coming that day(and later leave a message they arent sure they even have your pieceand may have to cancel anyway) and expect you to drop your schedule to accommodate them.2 x told Tue and then called to tell me its Monday or they cant deliver. No one knows whats going on over there-Total liars and con artists. I am looking at placing a credit card chargeback-possible small claims court. TURN AND RUN!!!!! ...read more
Protege Delivery

I ordered a treadmill on March 14. A month later, I have not received my product despite a claim of one to two week delivery. After weeks of waiting I called the treadmill company who called Protege to get them moving faster. Days later I received a call from Protege to schedule my delivery on April 12. On April 11 I received an automated call saying my product would arrive that day. After calling they told me the day is just off on the automated message and I could expect them on the 12. A half hour later they called back saying they didn't have my product and to call the company I ordered it from. The treadmill company again made a call to Protege on my behalf and an hour after that they found my treadmill. They attempted to deliver it but did not bother to ring my buzzer (with my name on it) to alert me to their presence (I live in an apartment). I guess they only tried knocking on the front door of the whole complex, waited 15 minutes, and left. Now I had to reschedule again. ...read more
