06/05/2009 Avoid this location. Spent $600 for parts replacing complete a/c system on my car by myself and went to belletire just to have it charged. They charged it, I paid $75, and by the time I got home, (15 min.drive), freon leaked out and there was dye everywhere. Leak was at the connector on low pressure side where the system is charged. No way they didn't see that as it was pouring out. Went back the next morning and they gave me estimate for $250 to replace o-rings at the compressor (o-rings were brand new as is compressor and there was no leak there in first place). Went to a different shop nearby, they replaced the connector and recharged all for $40. It's blowing ice cold. They also said they have lots of customers complaining about belle tire as they change mechanics and personnel quite often. ...read more

This place received Hour Detroit honors? I guess that makes sense coming from a publication that calls WAB the best microbrewery. They obviously have no idea what they are talking about!\t\n\t\nI was optimistic at first, as Autometric seems more upscale than most collision repair shops. Also, the initial inspection of my vehicle seemed professional; they took a picture and really seemed to take a close look at the damaged areas. So they excel at the pre-sales portion of the experience.\t\n\t\nEverything went downhill from that point. With excessive delays, unbelievably poor communication, and a devil-may-care attitude, I felt like it was their personal mission to torture me and I honestly couldn?t wait for the ordeal to end.\t\n\t\nYou may ask yourself why do you care if the insurance company is paying? Well, you still have to deal with them throughout the process. If you choose Autometric, you better hope there is no need to go back for warranty work afterwards. \t\n\t\nMy advice is to avoid this place like the plague; there are much better local shops that may not look as fancy, but will treat you like you probably expect to be treated; with a little respect.\t\n ...read more
