SO TIRED of getting year old apples advertised as 'fresh' at high prices that should be reserved for 'real' fresh prices. look for generic packaging that doesn't have much info other than the word 'fresh' and the kind of apples. We live in a state that produces much of the country's apples & we deserve the real thing. Shame on family fare for passing off year-old storage apples on their customers and advertising them as 'FRESH'! at INCREDIBLY high prices The only thing they're good for is baking. Let your congressman know we want 'date picked' on our produce packaging to prevent businesses like Spartan stores from passing off garbage apples on Michigan taxpayers AT FRESH PICKED PRICES! ...read more
