I wanted to try a different martial arts style, and was suprised at the intense work out at the karate class. \t\nI used to do karate when I was younger, but I never did the conditioning part. \t\nThis class warmed up before any karate was started and as I am older, I appreciated being able to streach out first! \t\nI expected to do kicking and punching in a karate class, but these insturctors keep up the pace of kicks and punching and in no time I was sweating. \t\nThe insturctor kept me sweating the entire time with what they called basic technique, so I am interested in trying their class again. ...read more

I like the fact that the kids have a seprate schedule from the adults, but it would be convient to train with my child instead of having to come after his class is finished. \t\nBUT, after actually trying a class with my child in the youth program, I now understand why the kids have a program that is tailored towards their level, and the adult program is tailored for adults. Although it would be more convient to come to karate classes at the same time, this karate school made it comfortable for me to decide if I could work the seprate time slots into our schedule. ...read more
