Be careful as a property owner using their service or as a renter. This company/owner is in it for their pocket not yours. The management fees for poperty owners is high, the damage to properties due to lack of tenant review is high. When asked for records and documents showing background searches etc on prospect tennants... well good luck with that. Be more than careful with anything to do with this company. ...read more

I am a female tenant currently residing in one of RPM's properties in Lansing, Michigan, and recently a maintenance man came out to check the locks on the doors while I was at home. I had not gotten a 24-hour notice prior to this nor did he have a form of I.D. and yet, he actually expected that I would open my door and let him in. When I told him that I did not feel comfortable about doing this for the reasons given, he actually got beligerant with me attempting to intimidate me by saying that I was "being defiant" and that I should let him in. This employee's behavior was very disturbing and the situation was extremely frightening for me. What a bully! I can't believe I have to pay rent for this kind of bad treatment! I have rented at this property for 2 years and thus far, I am not impressed at all.
