We had donated a $100 gift certificate to a local hospitals charity event, knowing it would help the cancer center and get our name out there too by offering our services to someones birthday bash or something fun like that. The winner donated our services to Milford High Schools Senior Grad Night, the school added time and upgraded the services to 2 sprayers and the rest was history. We had a blast and the kids loved the tattoos, one highlight we were able to capture in photos was my wife Stacey shooting a large tribal skull design on a girls neck - it turned out awesome! It's really a blast doing something you enjoy and making so many others happy at the same time with their tattoos. We opened the doors in July 2008 offering Big Daddy Body Art Temporary Tattoos and after a major festival and a few smaller events things were going pretty good, but due to having a new baby only 2 months after we opened, things were put on hold a bit while we were adjusting to having the new baby here. We started by doing a few festivals out in the Northwest Indiana area where I grew up, then went into winter doing only a few private shows (friends of friends) but once spring 2009 hit we got a few events booked and the phones started to ring, we are also concentrating on doing more local events in 2009 vs. out of state festivals, which should help book local parties (that is the plan). We do our best to provide top quality affordable airbrush temporary tattoos to the Oakland County area of Michigan and look forward to meeting many new faces in 2009 and beyond.
